The parent and Child Framework (0-3 years) is about building the beginning of a lifelong love of water. 

Every child should be given a chance to learn to swim and feel like they are comfortable and able to do so in any situation. 
We believe that the first experiences during a child`s early years, of water and the pool environment, should be positive, fun and memorable.

Here at Carnforth Community Swimming Pool, we have great friendly staff who take pride in teaching these lessons through play, singing and music.

They also work towards a badge criteria through the STA (swimming teacher association) to award when achieved. We are also one of the only pools in the area who provide underwater photography!
